Cuisinart Stand Mixer
There are many stand mixers on the market today, making it difficult to choose the best one for you. This is made even more difficult by the multitude of different brands. One of the more notable brands is Cuisinart. Cuisinart is a manufacturer of high quality, specialty kitchen appliances like frozen yogurt makers, gridlers, etc. They recently began producing a line of Cuisinart stand mixers, and you may be wondering if a Cuisinart stand mixer is worth considering. However, there are still a lot of Cuisinart stand mixers and it can be difficult to go through and weigh the pros and cons of each individual one. I have produced this small guide to give you an overview of some Cuisinart stand mixers and why they are worth a purchase. (Continued Below Listings)
Cuisinart SM-70 7-Quart 12-Speed Stand Mixer
This is the highest end Cusiniart stand mixer you can buy. It’s extremely heavy duty and rather expensive. It boasts a 1000-watt motor, making this one of the most powerful speed mixers available. It has numerous features, including 12 speeds, a 15-minute countdown timer, auto-shutoff, 3 power outlets, and a slow start mode. The mixer’s bowl has a capacity of 7 quarts. The mixer is cast in durable metal which will prevent any damage from happening to your mixer; it’s also very easy to clean. A splashguard is included to help prevent spills and messes. This mixer definitely stands out as the best of the Cusiniart stand mixers. If you don’t mind the steep price ($440 approx.) then I would whole heartily recommend this mixer.
Cuisinart HSM-70 Power Advantage 7-Speed Handheld/Stand Mixer
This Cusiniart stand mixer is not as feature heavy or as bulky as other Cusiniart stand mixers, but in turn it’s much cheaper and certainly has its own share of features. The mixer has a 220-watt motor, this may seem weak but it’s capable of handling most mixing jobs in the kitchen. It comes with 7 speed settings. The mixer’s stainless-steel bowl has a capacity of 3 ½ quarts. It has one switch, easy to use LED display. A tilt back head, and a easy release mechanism makes you very easy to manipulate the head of the mixer. The parts are dishwasher safe making the cleanup hassle free. The mixer includes an instruction book (with recipes) and 3 different beaters: flat mixing beaters, dough hooks, and a professional chef’s whisk. Finally, the price is a major selling point for the Cusiniart stand mixer, it can easily be found for around $60 (approx.). This mixer isn’t the most heavy-duty option, but it’s definitely worth a consideration if you are looking for an inexpensive, but effective stand mixer.
Cuisinart SM-55 5-1/2-Quart 12-Speed Stand Mixer
The Cusinianart SM-55 5-1/2-Quart 12-Speed Stand Mixer is one of the higher end Cusiniart stand mixers available. It is not the most powerful stand mixer, but it is also not the most expensive. It draws a good balance between cost without sacrificing too many features. It only costs about $300 (approx.). Despite being over $100 cheaper than the highest quality Cusiniart stand mixer (the SM-70), the SM-55 has many of the same or similar features. It has an 800-watt motor, which is more than powerful to do any conceivable job you could need it to do. It has 12 speeds, a 5 ½ quart bowl, slow start and gentle fold functions, 15-minute countdown timer, multiple types of beaters, as well as a splashguard for the bowl. I highly recommend this Cusiniart mixer, it has high quality but at the same time it is not being as as the other high end Cusiniart stand mixers.
I hope this very small overview of three different Cusiniart stand mixers has proved helpful if you was unsure to get a Cusiniart stand mixer.
